Tractor Technology
I bet you never realized that there is a lot of technology built in to tractors and there is a whole industry that caters to providing things like skid steer attachments, zero turn mowers, post hole diggers and garden equipment.
Agriculture is a huge industry in this country and around the world that matter. But we often forget that the equipment to run this industry has also become very advanced in terms of their capabilities and functions. Tractors are not the same machines that we remember plaing on at the farms when were were kids. Today’s machinery is complex, sleek and sophisticated and probabbly better than commuter cars of the 70′s.
These heavy machinery and tractors all have the capability to incorporate add on parts, much like features and options of regular cars. A tractor can be fitted with Grouser bar tracks to prevent it from slipping – this is known as a skid steer attachment. The same tractor can also be fitted with a digger for construction purposes or even shredders for excavators. The list of attachments goes on and on…a tractor has truly become a very versatile piece of machinery that is very heavily relied upon even today, just as it was years ago. Now a days, it does more and provides a lot more functionality. I wonder what this technology will be like in 20 more years from now.
